  • Provide a safe, high quality service that focuses on the health and wellbeing of the residents.
  • Supports resident's right, interests, cultural and spiritual needs in a non-judgmental manner.
  • Assist residents to meet daily living needs, including nourishment, mobility, and personal hygiene.
  • Assists and promotes residents to maintain independence, communication and social interaction with others.
  • A range of services are provided to residents who need them including:
    • Personal care
    • Nursing care
    • Catering services
    • Cleaning services
    • Laundry, including personal clothing
    • Activities program
    • Complimentary therapies
  • Visiting services include:
    • Medical Doctor
    • Podiatrist
    • Physiotherapist
    • Dietician

The Aboriginal Community Elders Services Hostel Refurbishments have almost been completed, this means we have some vacancies. The newly refurbished hostel is the perfect place for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders who find it difficult to live independently due to frailty/aging illnesses etc.

If you are or know an Elder who would benefit from low care hostel care, please feel free to give us a call to discuss.

To be eligible you must:

  • Be over 45 years old
  • Have a current ACAS Assessment
    (We can help you obtain an appointment for an assessment, if you are unsure).
  • Be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.
